Role: Managing Director

Chris is the managing director of Sense Cost Consultancy Limited. He established the company in 2004 after leaving his position as partner of a leading quantity surveying practice. Throughout his career, Chris has provided his clients with a wide range of services from high level strategic cost advice to initial feasibility studies. He has worked across all sectors and through every stage of a project from inception to completion.

With more than 30 years in the construction industry, Chris has a client list that is second to none. He has worked for developers including Allied London Properties, CLS Holdings, Minerva, Parabola Estates, Targetfollow and The British Land Company. He was responsible for new headquarter buildings for the Department for Trade and Industry, Deutsche Bank, Ernst & Young, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, GlaxoSmithKline, ICI, L'Oreal, McGraw Hill, Merrill Lynch, N.M.Rothschilds, Swiss Re, Sainsbury's, Schroders Investment Management Limited, Walt Disney Company Limited and West LB. He has worked for several public sector clients including the BBC, Brunel University, the Home Office, Hull City Council, Humberside County Council, the London boroughs of Hounslow, Lambeth, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets and Wandsworth and the Yorkshire Health Authority. His office fit out clients include Citibank, ING Real Estate, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Reuters and UBS AG.
