Macro and Mace partnership delivers German headquarters for Invesco

Macro, the facilities management arm of Mace Group, together with a Mace project team in Germany has delivered a new headquarters building in Frankfurt, Germany for Invesco, the global investment management firm.
The project team were faced with many challenges including the proviso that all works must be completed by the landlord using their architects and local supply chain, whilst concept design was carried out in the UK by ABA Design. However, the integrated team negotiated all the obstacles to deliver on time and on budget.
The £2m project comprised the fit out of new offices and the relocation of 130 staff, providing modern, high quality, open plan office accommodation of approx 30,000 sq ft in the de Welle (Wave) building in Frankfurt. Macro and Mace collaborated to provide Invesco with on site project management, facilities management, cost and design support services.
Invesco director, Denise Harrison said: "Both the construction and relocation project certainly had its fair share of challenges for all concerned. Without the professional and close working relationship that we have with Macro and Mace, I am sure the challenge would have been far greater. The whole team worked well together to deliver the project on time and within budget."
