The Mace Group works extensively in the local government sector, providing a wide range of services that include property and school maintenance and improvement programmes, ICT implementation projects, social housing projects, and transport-related projects.
We work with local authorities in a variety of ways from engaging with councils to undertake the comprehensive outsourcing of non-core services to forming partnerships in which service improvement and best value are key objectives. We are also appointed under framework agreements where additional specialist support is required.
What characterises our local government commissions is the emphasis we place on service transformation, performance management, stakeholder engagement and best value.
