Mace has been appointed to carry out project management services on the upgrade and replacement of four household waste recycling centre’s by Leicestershire County Council.

These works will contribute to a programme set up by the council to support its performance in recycling and diversion systems for local people. The project involves the acquisition of new construction sites and the redesign of existing waste management sites. It will also deliver service improvements which will include an increase in recycling rates, customer satisfaction and management of health and safety.

The substance of the role is the provision of project and procurement management services. This work involves feasibility, options assessment, business case and financial modeling, together with an assessment of the appropriate procurement route open to the council.
