Mlogic, the Mace Groups dedicated logistics management company, has been appointed to deliver the logistics and general builders work commission as part of Mace Group's appointment on the new British Airways Commercially Important Passenger (CIP) lounge project at Terminal Three. This is Mlogic's tenth commission at Heathrow Airport and work will start on 4th August.
Commencing with just three permanent staff in September 2006, Mlogic's airports team has gone from strength to strength with twelve professional staff now managing logistics and general builders sub-contracts on nine live projects at Heathrow and Stansted airports.
The team now hopes to use its impressive track record to bring best value logistic solutions and a smarter way of thinking to further infrastructure projects across the Mace Group and beyond.
In an additional milestone, the Mlogic airports team has passed the quarter of a million safe man-hours worked across its various sites since its first commission in September 2006. Managing director Malcolm Hannon said of the achievement: "Mlogic is increasingly recognised as a safe, reliable and innovative part of BAA's supply chain."
