Macro receives ISO14001 certification

After an extensive review of Mace Macro's environmental management system and the application of that system on the managed services contract with a world leading accounting firm, the external auditor British Standards Institute (BSi) has registered Macro as ISO 14001 compliant.

ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems, establishing global standards for environmental good practice and supporting companies to identify, prioritise and manage environmental risks as part of business practice.

Macro's Diana Savoy said: "ISO 14001 certification is an achievement by a committed team with enthusiastic support from the organisation. Not only does Macro strive to minimise harmful effects to the environment caused by our activities, we also aim to continually improve this ambition by rolling the system through the company, and involving our clients and service partners in our environmental performance".

This statement was supported by Chloe Pearce of the BSi who reported: “The onsite assessment included inputs from both OCS and Norlands, which shows the level of commitment to the system for the whole FM team”.
