Mace Plus celebrate project completion with staff and pupils at Garth Hill College

23/09/2010
Mace Plus celebrated the practical completion of the £32m Garth Hill College new build project alongside staff and pupils.
Mace Plus provided both design and construction management for the new Pathfinder school for client Bracknell Forest Borough Council. Procured under the IESE framework agreement, the project comprised the delivery of four separate, three-storey buildings with a linked central courtyard. The new 15,000 square metre college will accommodate 1,550 pupils.
As part of the celebrations, the team held a student competition in which pupils were tasked with building an accurate model of the new college. The competition aimed to teach the pupils about the industry. The day was the last in a long line of events created by Mace Plus to successfully integrate and involve the students of Garth Hill in the successful delivery of their new educational facility.
