Mace extends its role for Kettering Borough Council

Kettering Borough Council has commissioned Mace to provide project management support services, including bespoke systems, to deliver its town centre masterplan. Developed in 2005, the masterplan aims to make Kettering a first choice destination for shopping, financial and leisure services in Northamptonshire.
The commission includes the relocation of the council’s back office services to a brand new building on the outskirts of the town centre. The relocation of the council's offices will free up its existing building which will be redeveloped along with two further sites in the town centre.
A Mace project team was appointed to an original 12 week commission in October 2007 working with the council to help develop project management systems and will now continue to guide the project through the feasibility stage to the procurement of a developer.
