Mace appointed to project manage Galleria mall in St Petersburg

Mace has been appointed by The Briz Construction Company to project manage the Galleria retail centre in the heart of the historic city of Saint Petersburg, Russia. This is our first major appointment in the former Russian capital and is a major milestone in the on-going development of our Russian business.
The 200,000m² development, with a construction value of US$278m, is on programme to open in February of 2010. The design is for a 5-storey retail centre with 2-levels of basement car parking below. In addition to retail, there is a fitness centre and a state of the art cinema facility.
The site is situated on Ligovsky Prospect, just off the famous Nevsky Prospect and adjacent to Moskovski railway station, which has direct trains to Moscow and the surrounding area.
