Mace and Sense secure places on Learning and Skills Council Framework of Consultants

Sense cost consultancy has secured a place alongside Mace on the Learning and Skills Council Framework of Consultants. The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) is the main funding organisation for all further education colleges who cater for students aged 16-19 years. The framework is formed of three areas; North, Central and South and Mace has been successful in all three regions. Sense were successful in the Northern and Central regions.

Further education colleges will now invite consultants on the framework to tender for consultant services instead of procuring through the long OJEU process. Since the framework was announced both Sense and Mace have seen a significant increase in enquires for FE projects and Sense have already secured cost consultant services at North Nottinghamshire College.

Places on this framework were secured after a lengthly process which included submitting a pre qualification questionnaire, tender document and attending interviews. The Sense team consisted of Steve Gillingham, Amanda Harney and Mike Sinnott.

The learning and skills council funds projects to the value of £750 million a year and both Sense and Mace look forward to significantly increasing their workload in this sector.
