Como's Robin Harris presides at CoreNet Global UK awards dinner

In his capacity as president of the CoreNet Global UK chapter, Como director Robin Harris opened the proceedings for the annual CoreNet Global UK awards dinner which took place on 6th February at the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre in Westminster. CoreNet Global UK is the UK chapter of the worldwide corporate real estate association which aims to support, inform and educate best practice to meet the occupational needs of businesses in the UK.
The prestigious awards are highly acclaimed in the property industry and the categories included: corporate real estate executive of the year (won by Lynda Shillaw of the Cooperative Group), corporate real estate partner of the year (won by Stephen Norris of Cushman Wakefield), the student essay prize (won by Steve Skinner of Sheffield Hallam University), the innovation in real estate award (won by Simon Elmer, Matthew Higgs and Nishe Patel from Cushman Wakefield) and the sustainability award (won by Chris Seeley, Skansen).
Robin Harris commented, “The quality of entries this year was the highest to date and demonstrate the high standard of work being undertaken in corporate real estate. The strength of the candidates is a strong indicator of the cutting edge talent in our growing sector.”
750 guests attended the event and were entertained by after dinner speaker Sandi Toksvig, the well known speaker, author and comedienne.
