Como project 22 Chancery Lane tops out

The Como project team celebrated a milestone at its 22 Chancery Lane site with the hosting of a topping out ceremony on 27th February.
Attended by Colin Hall of client Standard Life together with members of the design team, the event marked the completion of the frame of the development which will include 60,000 square foot of office space when it is completed in August 2008.
The ceremony took place on the roof of the five storey building and after a brief welcome by Como's David Osborne and Jeremy Ruff of Smithruff, Como’s managing director Damien Kenny presented the client with a commemorative silver trowel to mark the occasion. Colin Hall extended his thanks to the consultants and the Como team for the hard work and commitment which enabled the project to reach this milestone.
Damien Kenny commented: "We are delighted to be working with Standard Life on this project. Particular thanks must go to the subcontractors Bourne Steel and J. Coffey who have delivered a quality frame on which we can push on over the next six months to complete the building for late Summer 2008."
