Sense provided cost management services on the fit out of commercial office space on Copthall Avenue in London for client ING Real Estate Development.

As cost consultant on the project, Sense managed the costs on the fit out of two floors to form a bespoke client reception area with meeting rooms, open plan office space and a new staff delicatessen and café. A new feature stair was inserted between the two levels to facilitate better integration between departments. In addition, a basement space was converted from a store room to shower facilities.

The project was informally titled 'project reunion' as it brought together a number of departments that had previously been distributed throughout London. The programme was tight, especially for the procurement of the feature stair, but closely spaced sectional completion and constant client input enabled the team to complete the project on time and within budget.
